To the great relief of his friends, Goku is still very much alive. It turns out that Jackie Chun destroyed the full moon instead – thus returning Goku to normal. With his tail again gone, Goku suits up to continue the match. However, he is weakened by hunger and Jackie Chun by his Kamehameha Wave. Forfeiting isn’t an option, though, so they continue fighting – reaching the point where whoever remains standing the longest will win. Ultimately, Goku collapses from exhaustion and loses, but he takes it in stride. Master Roshi is proud of him and to get a hefty prize sum – which is ultimately spent on dinner for the gang.
