Goku experiences a much different homecoming than he was expecting. Though he is thrilled to see Gohan and his friends again, the young warrior immediately wishes to speak with him. Before they talk, though, he has Goku prove his Super Saiyan transformation was no fluke. The bizarreness only intensifies from there. The new warrior – Trunks – is the time traveling son of Vegeta and Bulma. By Trunks’ time, a heart disease has killed Goku and Dr. Gero’s androids have killed many people – including the other Z Fighters. Trunks hopes to now change their future and his present. Before departing, he gives Goku the heart disease antidote.
