In Dbz & DbGT Their are currently three ways of fusing

Namek Fusion

Namek Fusion Technique

The Namekian Fusion is performed by the Namek who wishes to absorb another by placing its hand on the others Chest, Once this has been performed it cannot be undone, The absorbed powers from the Namek are merged into one, Along with the mind and soul.
This type of Fusion has no Limit, Apart from that it can only be achieved within the Namekian race, A Namek can Fuse any number of times.

The Nameks which have performed this fusion are

Fusion	Outcome
Piccolo and Nail	Picconail
Piccolo and Kami	Kamicolo

Fusion Dance

Fusion Dance Technique

The Fusion Dance is performed by 2 fighters first learning a skilled dance.
Once learned the fighters must both perform the dance correctly otherwise the fusion can result in a badly formed fighter. This type of Fusion only last 30 minutes, After this time limit has been reached both fighters are defused and back into 2 separate fighters.

The Fighters which have performed the Fusion Dance are

Fusion	Outcome
Goku and Vegeta	Gogeta
Goten and Trunks	Gotenks

Potara Fusion

Potara Fusion Technique

This type of Fusion is performed by 2 fighters each wearing a earring in the opposite ear. When this occurs both fighters will be melted into one.
This Fusion is said to be better then the Fusion Dance and is permanent.
When a fighter has been Fused with this method they cannot lower there power level, So there fighting lifetime will most probably be shorter.
